STCW notes for April/May
June 10, 2020
Since we were unable to have our meeting in April, I wanted to give some updates on items we have been working on.
1-Please message me your email address so I can create a contact list. Feel free to private message me or text me at 608.220.2453.
2-Please email us your concerns regarding our future meetings and gatherings (bake sale, bizarre, meetings, etc.) We are due to have our next meeting in July and want to be able to accommodate everyone’s concerns.
3-Poynette graduation did happen and our scholarships were given. This year’s recipients were Abigail Marquardt, Tabitha Crase and Gwendolyn Golueke. They each received a $400 scholarship, a congratulations letter and a prayer coin from us. We did receive a Thank you card from Tabitha Crase, which I will bring to our next meeting.
4-STCW Budget. Given the current circumstances, we may want to review our budget and see where we can help our church out financially. We have not been asked to do so, but we should review it again at our next meeting.
5-Littlest Angel Bizarre – Usually we have this completely planned out by our Oct meeting. Keep in mind, this always falls on the 1st Saturday of December, which is December 5 this year. Unsure if we will be able to have it given the current situation, but please keep it reserved in your personal schedule just in case for now.
6-Please share with us any ideas of other topics that either need to be addressed or you would like to see added to our next meeting agenda in July. My email address is [email protected] – feel free to email me directly.
Thank you all for your patience and we look forward to a day we can all gather again in the name of the Lord.
Alice Reigel, VP of STCW
Notice for all St Thomas Ladies:
The St. Thomas Christian Women need your help. As the group continues to age their numbers have started to drop, so we are calling for the women of the church to start attending our meetings. You may not realize, once you have been confirmed in the church, you are automatically a member of the STCW. We would love for you to join us at our 4 meetings a year and learn about our 1 fundraiser, which is the Little Angel Bizarre – (1st Sat of Dec). We are looking for new and fresh ideas of ways we can better serve our church;\Contact Bonnie Eloranta at [email protected] or Alice Reigel at [email protected] for more information.
